ADDITIONAL TUITION

picture of a TX1 taxiIn response to several requests for extra help, I thought it might be useful to offer additional practical tuition to our evening class and correspondence course students. These day-time sessions would last for approximately 3 hours and would be tailored to the needs of the individual.

1. Individual areas could be driven
around, and studied in much more detail than could be achieved in the classroom situation.

2. Hotels, hospitals, consulates, places of interest etc. could be visited.

3. Route planning techniques could be taught and practiced. Pupils would be driven around the city, from point A to point B, being shown the most practical route. Over the years the Cab Office have placed more emphasis on the route part of the test paper. Our intensive students have found this aspect of the course particularly valuable, especially those pupils who may be experiencing difficulty in this field.

The above sessions need not be undertaken solely on an individual basis. Pupils may wish to consider joining forces with another one or two, thereby reducing the cost. Charges will be as follows:

One Pupil - £60 per 3 hour session

Two Pupils - £40 per person per 3 hour session

Three Pupils - £30 per person per 3 hour session
